Mr. Avvad is a Senior Partner at FreitasLeite, focusing his practice in the Corporate, Mergers and Acquisitions, Tax and Restructuring areas. He is also the head of the firm's Rio de Janeiro office.

He has worked for over 25 years advising private and public companies in M&A transactions, corporate and tax restructurings, and national and international securities offerings.

Mr. Avvad has been regularly acknowledged by leading international legal rankings such as Chambers & Partners, Legal 500, Latin Lawyer, Leaders League and Best Lawyers.
